Comprehensive Boiler Service – From £105 (parts or central Heating Inhibitor not Included)
Boiler Service Steps:
Gas tightness test, gas pressures both at the meter and the appliance, gas rate;
Electrical checks including electrical safety checks;
Visual inspection of the appliance, flue and pipework;
Combustion analysis, flue checks for leaks;
Cleaning of magnetic filters, strainers and condense traps;
Checking expansion vessel for correct operation, pressure and adjusted if necessary;
Verify operation of safety controls.
Comprehensive:
Same as above plus dismantling, cleaning inside the main heat exchanger for better efficiency, including removal and install of new seals as well check the spark electrodes and replace if necessary;
These 2 types of services are advisable to be alternated yearly and should start on the comprehensive.
